Terms of Use
Last updated: 26 October 2026
1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of the Diwan mobile app and website, provided by Seamlabs. Diwan is made available to you by your employer (the "Company"), which has its own agreement with Seamlabs. Your employment terms and your Company's HR policies continue to apply alongside these terms.
2. Your account
- Your account is created by your Company. Keep your password private and do not let anyone else use your account.
- Your account is bound to the phone you sign in on. Before changing phones, release it from the old phone in the app ("This is not my phone") or ask your Company's HR department to release it.
- Tell your HR department straight away if you think someone else has accessed your account.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- record attendance for someone else, or use location-spoofing tools or any other means to misrepresent where or when you worked;
- upload documents that are false, belong to someone else without permission, or contain unlawful content;
- try to access data that is not yours, probe or disrupt the Service, or reverse-engineer the app except where the law allows.
Misuse may be reported to your Company and may lead to your access being suspended.
4. Information shown in the app
Shifts, attendance, leave balances and payslips are taken from your Company's HR records. If something looks wrong, raise it with your HR department — the Company's records and decisions are the reference, not the app's display.
5. Availability
We work to keep Diwan available and accurate, but the Service is provided "as is" and may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or reasons beyond our control. To the extent permitted by law, Seamlabs is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app.
6. Privacy
How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Changes and ending use
We may update the app and these terms. Your access ends when your Company closes your account or stops using Diwan. These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
8. Contact
Questions about these terms: contact your Company's HR department.
